jackdanielsandfilm asks:

when I was in school we were forced to prey every day, by the time I was starting secondary school I had already realised the problems in the bible and the whole concept of religion.
After a while my teachers would say to the class 'lower your head to prey' while everybody else did as they were told I would sit solidly, staring at the teacher, sometimes it was my head master.
Everything they could do to me was done, I was given detention up to 3 times a week, so lost any spare time that I had but I continued.
Eventually they all gave up and didn't bother with me any more, though I would still get dirty looks during an assembly hall with 200 people bowing down to a fake deity, and me sat rigidly.
Not really a question but more of a story about persevering and how religion can be beaten with a little effort and sacrifice of personal time.

GAR answers:

I have so much respect for you it’s unreal.
