
I’d tell them to read it from back to front and note down every contradiction they find in it, every section that goes against what we know about science today, every prophecy that hasn’t come true, and every element that would be deemed ‘wrong’ in society today. If they were still happy to roll with the idea that it’s factual, I really wouldn’t waste my breath any further. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and walk away very, very slowly, and just let people be delusional. As for aliens, I don’t believe in them completely, but I do very much believe in the concept of them, purely because it would be ignorant of me to deny the size of our universe and the amount of evidence we have to theorise such things.
